All those for whom a trip to Ingolstadt, Germany is not too far away should make a note of October 25th, because then they will meet in the Audi Forum under the motto “Virtual Sounds” Electronic music and virtual reality together.
The Event
In “Virtual Sounds”, acoustic and visual impressions complement each other to create interdisciplinary art. The live music comes from the band “Ströme”, who use modular synthesizers for the show. On the electric and synthesizer bass, the musician supports Dominik Palmer. With the addition of virtual reality glasses, the boundaries between the real and the virtual world become blurred…
Virtual Experience
Matching the music, visitors see environments with different landscapes, objects and 3D objects. The virtual worlds are based on the Audi drive select driving dynamics levels “dynamic”, “comfort” and “efficiency”. They stand for individual life rhythms and create different atmospheres.
The Guest Can Participate
In addition, visitors can create their own drawings using virtual reality technology, which are then projected onto the panorama screen in the museum’s auditorium. This is intended to further enhance the audiovisual effects.
The Developers
The format “Virtual Sounds” was developed by Audi Forum Ingolstadt in cooperation with Matthias Fischer, the popular music representative of the Upper Bavarian district, students of Macromedia University Munich, University of Applied Sciences, under the direction of Professor Jörg Liebold and the creative studio for Virtual Reality Mirror+Sparks.
